- Hours and serial plates. Each unit is identified by serial number and hour meter. Photos of plates and meters are part of the record.
- Attachments and technology. Buckets, mulching heads and GPS grade control can add or move value. They are listed separately.
- Rental and leased units. Equipment on rent or lease from a dealer is excluded from owned collateral.
- Auction depth. Heavy equipment has an active auction market. Orderly and forced liquidation values rest on recent results for comparable units.
