Background
Chris Baker has about 30 years in commercial valuation, appraisal management, brokerage and lending. He has written machinery and equipment appraisals for nearly 20 years.
He served six years on the Alabama Real Estate Appraisers Board, including a term as chairman, and led its investigations and complaints work for all six years. He reviews appraisals for banks today.
Before that he placed commercial mortgage debt as a lender and ran a property management company. He knows what an underwriter needs from a report because he has sat on both sides of the file.
He works in English and Spanish from San Juan, Puerto Rico.
