What matters
Issues we address in these reports
- Leased machines. Newer CNC equipment is often leased. Leased units are listed separately and kept out of the totals.
- Software. CAD/CAM, ERP and machine programming licenses are intangible assets. They are not valued as equipment.
- Installation. Rigging, foundations, wiring and start-up belong in fair market value in continued use. They drop out of liquidation values.
- Real property. Pits, foundations and building services for large machines can be part of the real estate. They are identified, not valued as equipment.
